Winter Garden Renovation is fully leased before Completion

2013 Bond Bldg Winter Garden

An amazing story of what one building restoration can do, is the story of the Bond Building in downtown Winter Garden. Farmer Architects were hired to upgrade a forlorn property a few block from City Hall in Winter Garden.  Connecting 4 adjacent buildings with a new shared elevator and toilet core, the renovation contractor, liked what was envisioned, and decided to lease the larger share of the project for their own relocated offices.

Before the building renovations were finished the street front suites were completely leased. The community has embraced the restored corner prompting renovations of additional buildings on the same block, expanding the footprint of the Winter Garden’s successful downtown recovery.

This building was distinguished this year at the local American Institute of Architects awards celebration with a 2013 AWARD OF MERIT.

Jury Comments: “A good adaptive reuse. Interiors are fun. It reactivates a street that was once dead. Tastefully done.”
