Orlando City Soccer Stadium

Orlando City Soccer revealed their current design image for the Orlando Soccer Stadium today at a press conference at the Abbey downtown. The architects are Populous, who also were the architects for the Amway Center. Here is a link to their website: http://populous.com/

The original planning involved Woods Bagot. Here is a link to their site showing early renderings of the stadium: http://www.woodsbagot.com/project/orlando-city-stadium-orlando-florida-usa

One Response to Orlando City Soccer Stadium

  1. Carmelo Monti (Mel) says:

So, the Citrus Bowl stands empty once again for the two games a year it hosts, because the Soccer fans don’t want to play in a joint use stadium. What a big effin waste of money. Once the soccer team started gaining crowds filling the Citrus Bowl, then and only then build them the Grand stadium they desire. Sorry, I’m just against this entire bullshit fiasco and waste of my taxpayers dollars. So now, I guess I’m gonna piss the other side off.
