The site opened in 1889 as the Southern and Coastal Railroad Station, operating until the mid-1920s, before being turned into a handful of nightclub concepts from the 1960s through 2000s.
The historic structure has been beautifully renovated and opened as Ferg’s Depot, offering wings, burgers and steaks. The outdoor patio features an oyster bar. They have also added four shipping containers on the back side to mimic the look of an old cargo train. Those shipping containers have been converted into bathrooms, a kitchen and a storage space for 150 kegs of beer.

FYI. Your headline makes it appear that a steakhouse has opened at the depot⦠That was an early plan. What actually opened is a sports bar that does oysters and burgers.
